Dear Readers,
I just returned from the 11th annual Biohacking Conference— and wow, what an inspiring whirlwind! My mind is buzzing with breakthroughs, tools, and ideas that I cannot wait to share with you in future blog posts. But first… I need to practice what I preach.
Because in the next few weeks, two major life milestones are unfolding for me:
I’ll be traveling to Philadelphia for the prestigious 2025 Indie Book Awards, where my book Create the Vitality You Crave: Epigenetics 101 to Unlock Your Healing Power has been named a finalist — a moment that still feels surreal!
While there, I’ll also attend the American Library Association Conference, where I’ll be connecting with publishers, literary agents, and publicists — plus engaging in some exciting media opportunities, including interviews and podcast recordings. This is an incredible chance to amplify the message of Create the Vitality You Crave to a global audience, and I’m so grateful for what’s unfolding.
And shortly after that, on July 10th I will marry the love of my life! If you follow me on Social Media, you will see pics of me and my handsome fiance’:)
As you can imagine, it’s a sacred, joy-filled, and beautifully full season. Which is why I’m choosing to do what I encourage you to do — to create margin.
In my book, I share about the life-changing concept of margin, inspired by Dr. Richard Swenson’s powerful work. Margin is the space between your load and your limits. It’s where we catch our breath, listen to God, and reconnect to purpose.
Without margin, we burn out. But with margin, we heal.
We live in a world that praises hustle, overload, and busyness. But I’ve learned — through my own healing journey — that we can’t serve others, show up for our callings, or even experience joy if we’re constantly running on empty.
Whether summer opens up space for you — or squeezes you with added obligations — let this be your gentle reminder:you have permission to slow down.
Create space. Honor your energy. Listen to the whispers of your body and soul.
Some practical ways to build margin into your summer:
* Say no without apology.
* Build buffer time into your schedule.
* Unplug at night. I practice a “digital sunset” every evening.
* Prioritize what nourishes your spirit.
* Do less — but do it with intention.
If you’ve been meaning to dive into Create the Vitality You Crave… this is your sign.
There’s a reason it’s being recognized — it’s packed with powerful, practical, and deeply personal tools to help you tap into your God-given healing power.
Your body is wise. Your story matters. Your healing is possible.
Don’t wait for burnout to find out what margin can really do for you. Let this be the summer you reclaim your vitality from the inside out.
Now is the perfect time to read the book that’s changing lives. You can find it on Amazon in paperback, hardcover, kindle and audiobook.
Over the coming weeks, I’ll be offline from the blog as I step into this sacred season of celebration, reflection, and love.
But I’m not disappearing — far from it! Here’s what you can look forward to when I return:
* Insights from the Biohacking Conference that you can apply to your own vitality
*The launch of the Create the Vitality You Crave Workbook — coming soon to Amazon!
* More tools, stories, and science-backed strategies to help you live whole, healthy, and holy
If Create the Vitality You Crave has impacted your life, I’d be so grateful if you shared it with others this summer:
– Leave a heartfelt review
– Post about it on social media
– Gift a copy to someone who needs healing and hope
Together, we can help more people live with clarity, margin, and joy.
Thank you, as always, for being here. May your summer be filled with rest, restoration, and radiant peace.
With love and gratitude,
Lori
