As the year comes to a close, it’s easy to look back and see only what didn’t happen.

The habits you meant to start.

The routines you couldn’t sustain.

The energy you wish you’d had more of.

That’s the gap — the distance between where you are and where you thought you’d be.

But here’s something most high-achieving women were never taught:

Progress is built by measuring the gain, not the gap.

The gain is everything you did do.

Everything you learned.

Everything your body survived, adapted to, and carried you through.

Especially this year.

If you’ve been practicing your “floors,” slowing down your nervous system, or choosing gentler support for your hormones, the gains may not look dramatic — but they’re real.

The gain might be:

  • noticing stress sooner — and choosing to slow down instead of push
  • using your “floors” to stay connected to your body, even on hard days
  • choosing rest without guilt
  • eating more regularly and supporting blood sugar
  • breathing or pausing when you normally would’ve powered through

And it may also look like changes you’ve been practicing all year — even if they felt small or imperfect:

  • cutting out toxic ingredients in cleaners or personal care products
  • eating a clean, whole-food diet — organic, grass-fed, and wild-caught when possible
  • exercising in ways that stimulate lymph and support the removal of toxic estrogens
  • supporting liver health, knowing how essential it is for hormone balance
  • prioritizing sleep and true rest, even when life felt busy

These choices matter.

They reduce toxic load.

They support detoxification.

They calm inflammation.

They help your hormones do what they were designed to do.

And most importantly, they signal to your nervous system:

I’m paying attention. I’m listening. I’m taking care of myself.

Here’s something else your body wants you to know:

Your nervous system doesn’t respond to pressure.

It responds to safety.

When you focus only on the gap, your system tightens.

Cortisol rises.

Motivation shuts down.

But when you acknowledge the gain — even quietly — your body softens.

That softness is what creates real, sustainable change.

As you step into the new year, I invite you to try something different.

Instead of asking,

“What do I need to fix?”

Try asking,

“What has already shifted — even slightly?”

Those shifts are your foundation.

In the new year, I’ll be sharing deeper tools, guided practices, and support to help you continue this work — building vitality by working with your body, not against it.

For now, let this be enough:

You are not starting from zero.

You are carrying wisdom, resilience, and real progress with you.

That’s the gain.

Wishing you a glorious, healthy New Year filled with the Vitality You Crave!!
