I know a lot of my readers are concerned about cancer – especially breast cancer. Yet did you know that in 2008 MD Anderson Cancer Clinic stated that a mere 5-10% of cancers are caused by “bad genes”. Read that again. This declaration means that 90-95% of cancers are caused by our diet and lifestyle. Deepak Chopra, MD’s profound words “The way you think, the way you behave, the way you eat, can influence your life by 30-50 years”  summarizes Epigenetics.

Epigenetics, the intricate dance between our genes and the environment, holds the key to unlocking our innate potential. Contrary to the deterministic view of genetics, epigenetics reveals that our lifestyle choices and environmental factors can influence gene expression, shaping our hormonal landscape.

Whether it’s a brisk walk in nature, a leisurely bubble bath, playing with your kids or pets, spending time with your soulmate, or a quiet moment of reflection, prioritize moments of replenishment amidst the chaos of daily life.
